Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about InsuraGuard and how we protect your clean energy investment.
The guarantee covers labour and workmanship only, relating to the installation of your battery system. It does not cover faults with the battery itself or other equipment - these are covered separately by the manufacturer's warranty, not by Insura Guard.
Up to 10 years from the system's original commissioning date. The remaining period depends on the age of your battery when you register.
Your battery system must be less than 4 years old at the time of registration. Systems that are 4 years or older are not eligible for the guarantee.
Pricing depends on your battery's age at registration:
- Under 12 months old: £99.99 (10 years of cover)
- 12-24 months old: £199.99 (up to 9 years left)
- 2-3 years old: £289.00 (up to 8 years left)
- 3 years old: £499.99 (up to 7 years left)
There is an excess of £29.95 for each claim. If system ownership changes, a £49.95 admin fee applies.
Register any time within 3 years of the original commissioning date. Registration is not possible after your system turns 4 years old.
